Structure of nuclear domains and the functional output for plant traits
Plants are exposed to biotic and abiotic challenges throughout their life. As they cannot escape, adaptation through changes in the transcriptional program is highly important for survival. WG3 aims to coordinate efforts in 1) determining the functional link between chromatin organization and its impact on gene regulation at specific developmental stages and in response to environmental cues as well as 2) to foster knowledge transfer to private companies interested in specific plant traits influenced by specific outputs of nuclear organization.
