Post-doc position (1 year, eventually renewed):
Description: Experimental tests will be set up on plants (legumes, Arabidopsis and other possible species) to study the transgenerational memory of plant abiotic stresses (heavy metals, water stress or similar). Functional genomics approaches will be used (transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenomics) and subsequent validation of the results through mutant screening, gene expression analysis using real-time. The transcriptomic analyzes will include next-generation sequencing approaches, an previous experience on plant research is particularly welcome (extraction, analysis and quanti-qualitative analysis of nucleic acids, preparation of transcriptomic and epigenomic libraries) . Preparation of tests in hydroponics or in the field. Phenotypic and physiological measurements in plants.
Post-doc position (1 year, eventually renewed):
Description: Bioinformatic analysis of next generation sequencing approaches via the Illumina and / or PacBio platform for de novo genome assembly, transcriptomics and epigenomics analysis in plants. The following skills are desirable: genome assembly and assessment, predictions of genes and noncoding RNA, ortholog detection, gene family studies, phylogenetic reconstruction, identification of whole-genome duplication, transcriptomic data analysis, evolution analysis comparative genomic analysis.
